Ben Price
Sports Nutritionist
Ben is Rowe & King’s sports nutritionist and is here to help you to use the food you eat around our training plans to maximise your health, adaptations to training, body composition and performance.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Sports Science, a post graduate diploma in Sports Nutrition from the International Olympic Committee and a master’s degree in Sports Nutrition from the University of Stirling. He is also registered on the Sport & Exercise Nutrition register, (an arm of the British Dietetics Association) and has completed research in the lab on carbohydrate metabolism and endurance performance. He’s worked extensively with athletes, having spent 7 years with one of the UK’s leading sports nutrition brands, before setting up his own consultancy.
Outside of nutrition, Ben’s has a passion for cycling and has raced at an elite level in mountain biking, both in the cross country and gravity enduro disciplines of the sport. Having raced in events from a few minutes to multiple days long, he has first-hand experience of the nutritional challenges faced by athletes, which helps him give the best possible support to the athletes he works with. Although realising his talents lied more in supporting athlete than trying to beat them to the line, he’s now focused on providing elite level nutrition support.
